Joseph Gower, Sr., of Spring Hill, Florida and formerly of Orangeville, passed away Thursday, August 12th, 2021, surrounded by his immediate family.
He was born September 10, 1955 in Nanticoke. He was the son of the late Harry and Mary (Harris) Gower.
Joe was a dedicated employee of the Benton Foundry for 34 years until his retirement in 2005.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Harry Gower, Florence Fisher and Edward Gower.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Beverly (Hittle) Gower; his daughter, Karey Jo, wife of Bruce Steves; and his son, Joseph Gower, Jr. and his companion, Hillary Marshall; his grandchildren: twins Gabriel and Ethan Steves and Carter Gower. He is also survived by his siblings: Robert Gower, Edna Miller, David Gower and wife Sheila; Nelson Gower; twin sister, Josephine Sellers and husband David; Viola Musselman; Vincent Gower and wife Mary and many nieces and nephews.
