Judith C. "Judy" (Ridall) Edwards

Judith  C. "Judy" (Ridall) Edwards, 79, of Evan Owens Apartments, Berwick, died Saturday evening, September 28th, 2024 at Bonham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Stillwater.  

Born June 26, 1945 at the former Nesbitt Hospital in Kingston, she was a daughter of the late Carlton and Doris (Norman) Ridall.  

Judy was a graduate of Northwest Area High School and then attended Flight School in Kansas City.   She last worked as a hostess at Denny's Restaurant in Bloomsburg and prior to that had worked the switchboard at Wise Foods, Inc., in Berwick.

She  was of the Lutheran faith and was a member of Zion's Red Church, Orwigsburg.  Judy was also a member of the Order  of Eastern Star.  

Judy enjoyed doing yard work, her flowers and seasonal decorating.  

Surviving are her son, Michael R. Edwards, of Wilder, TN; four sisters:  Rebecca R. "Becky" Kalweit and her husband, Fred, of Shickshinny; Virginia D. Kocher, of Bloomsburg; Joan T. Ash, of Sun City Center, FL and Pamela R.  Brown, of Nazareth, PA.  Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews as well as her niece, friend and companion, Kim Kadtke, of Shickshinny.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald C. Ridall. 

Graveside Services will be held Monday, October 7, 2024 at 1 PM at Scott Cemetery, Waterton.  The Rev. Alan Langelli, Geisinger Hospice Chaplain, will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Activity Department of Bonham Nursing Center, 477 Bonnieville Road, Stillwater, PA 17878.The McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., of Benton, is honored to serve Judy's Family.
