Judith "Judy" Loraine (Parks) Bogert, 86, of Orangeville, died Saturday evening, August 31, 2024 at Bonham Nursing Center, Stillwater.
Born August 2, 1938 in Greenwood Township, she was a daughter of the late Earl M. and Ethel F. (Creveling) Parks. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Guy Bogert, on November 29, 2009.
Judy attended Millville Schools. She enjoyed being a homemaker and had also been employed with various jobs over the years. She was known to be a very accomplished seamstress.
She was a member of the Lightstreet United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her five children: Cynthia L. Miller and her husband, Paul, of Bloomsburg; Robin D. Bogert and his wife, Stephanie, of Bloomsburg; Terry L. Bogert and his wife, Lora, of Orangeville; Allen K. Bogert, of Nescopeck; and Donald G. Bogert and his wife, Tenette, of Orangeville.
Also surviving are 15 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
She was the last member of her immediate family.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 11 AM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (State Route 487) with Rev. Rebecca B. Cuddeback, her Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Benton Cemetery. A Viewing will be held Thursday from 10 AM until the time of the Service at McMichael's. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 2595 Interstate Drive, Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
