Judy Ann (Godfrey) Schmeck

Judy Ann (Godfrey) Schmeck, 56, died suddenly on Saturday, November 12th, 2022 after a lengthy illness.

Born December 9, 1965 in Milton, Massachusetts, Judy was the loving  daughter of Eleanor Godfrey, of Ft. Myers, Florida and the late Joseph Godfrey. 

Judy grew up in Marshfield, MA, a graduate of Marshfield High School and then attended North Adams College.

Judy moved to Mifflinville, PA in 1993 to start a family as a homemaker. She is sadly missed by her entire family:  her three children: Joshua, of Danville; Ryan and his fiancée, Dr. Michaela Wagner, of Winston Salem, NC and Kayla, of Charlotte, NC; her sisters: Carol Madill and her husband, Bob, of Hingham, MA and their daughters:  Cara and Jenna;  Nancy Sealund and her husband, Kevin, of Duxbury, MA and their sons:  Brian and Andrew;  and one brother, Tom Godfrey and  his wife, Sheila, of Marshfield, MA and their children:  Brendan and Katie.

 Judy enjoyed vacationing at Humarock Beach with her family, swinging on the porch swing with her kids and neighbor, Shirley; gardening and bike riding. She also enjoyed cooking and baking and was always willing to share all that she had. 

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to all who tried to help her break free from those supporting her addiction. She is free now and will forever be remembered for the kind heart and love she could show to the most humble of souls. We give thanks to God for all the times we shared with her  and will miss her beautiful smile and the warmth of her loving hugs. So many years we missed having you mommy, we hope you are safe now and will see you some day at heaven's gate.

A private celebration of Judy's life will be held with the family at a later date.  The family requests any contributions in her memory be made to AA or to "Your Loving Choices".
