June E. (Gault) Wedge, 70, of Benton Township, passed peacefully away with her loving husband by her side on Wednesday, December 29th, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born June 10, 1951 in Rochester, New York, she was a daughter of the late Chivous E. and Helen M. (Tate) Gault. She and her husband, Charles R. Wedge, would have celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on June 21st.
June had been employed for a short time by the former Benton Food Bag. She mostly enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her family of five children. She especially cherished the time that she spent with her grandchildren.
Surviving, along with her husband, Charles, are her five children: Chivous R. Wedge, Benton; Jeffery E. Wedge and his wife, Heather, of Benton; twins: Wendy Smith and her husband, Larry, of Scranton and Randy Simons, of Benton; Scott A. Wedge and his wife, Arlee, of Freeland; fourteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a brother, Tom Weigele, of Florida.
