Kenneth A. "Kenny" Bond, 67, of Millville, died Monday, June 9, 2025 at his home, surrounded by his family.
Born April 15, 1958 at the Bloomsburg Hospital, he was a son of the late Ivan E. Bond, who died April 27, 2006 and Sophia K. (Bolek) Bond, who died June 5, 2021. Kenny and his wife Kathy S. (Zimmerman) Bond, celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on March 12th.
Kenny was a 1976 graduate of Benton High School. He worked as a farmer for most of his life and also was a retired bus driver from Bloomsburg University.
He was a member of Oriental Lodge, No. 460, F. & A. M., of Orangeville and the Painter Den Hunting Club, where he was a 30 year member.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, Kathy, are his two sons: Kevin Michael Bond and his wife, Marianne, of Bloomsburg; Kody Allen Bond, at home; a granddaughter, Ava Bond; three sisters: Carolyn Jones and her husband, Ross, of Texarkana, Texas; Patricia Threlkeld, of Orangeville; and Deborah Gordon and her husband, Walter, Jr., of Benton as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Masonic Services and Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 1 P. M. at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (State Route 487) with Pastor Scott Lyons, Stillwater Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Benton Cemetery. A Viewing will be held Saturday from 11:30 AM until the time of the services at 1:00 at McMichael's. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Camp Victory, 58 Camp Victory Road, Millville, PA 17846.
