Larry C. Crawford, 84, of the Village of Central, Sugarloaf Township, died Monday, August 12, 2024 at the home of his son and daughter-in-law in Central.
Born October 22, 1939 in Bloomsburg, he was a son of the late Carroll Benjamin Crawford and Betty (Ryder) Crawford. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Rosemary (Fisher) Crawford, on May 14, 2021.
Mr. Crawford graduated from the former Scott High School in Espy and then faithfully and honorably served his country in the U. S. Army.
He owned and operated his own business, "Crawford's Servicenter" in Bloomsburg for many years.
He was a former member of the Bloomsburg Moose Lodge where he was an avid bowler. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and doing yard work.
Surviving are his two children: Lori A. Weaver and her husband, James, of Orangeville; a son, Larry C. Crawford, II and his wife, Karen, of Benton; four grandchildren: Joshua David Weaver, Jesse James Weaver, Larry C. Crawford, III and Izabella Rose Crawford. Also surviving is his sister, Dottie Kopenhaver, of Harrisburg.
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Eight Days of Hope, P. O. Box 3208, Tupelo, MS 38803.
