Layne C. Isett Daily

Layne C. Isett Daily, 17, of Greenwood Township, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, February 22, 2023 at his home of natural causes.

Born December 11, 2005 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, he was a son of Coty E. Daily, with whom he made his home in Greenwood Township.

Layne was a student at Millville High School at the time of his death.  He was loved by all who knew him.  He had numerous jobs at school including delivering mail and selling tea to thirsty teachers. 

He loved dinosaurs and the Hulk.  He enjoyed riding the 4-wheeler with Pap and pretending to run the backhoe.  Watching action movies was his favorite past-time. 

Along with his mother, he is survived by a brother, Dominic Speedwell, at home; his maternal grandparents:  Jeff and Faith Daily, of Millville as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 27th, 2023 at 10 AM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (State Route 487) with Pastor Michael Woolcock, Rohrsburg Christian Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Lemon Cemetery, Greenwood Township.  A Viewing will be held Sunday from 1 to 4 PM at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to his family to help offset Layne's final expenses.
