Linda K. (Edwards) Kessler

Linda K. (Edwards) Kessler, 77, of Bloomsburg, died early Wednesday morning, March 1, 2023 at the Gardens at Millville. 

Born February 28, 1946 in Bloomsburg, she was a daughter of the late Nevin L. and Marjorie A. (Cox) Edwards.  She was also preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Albert J. "Al" Kessler, on June 21, 2016.

Linda was a graduate of Central Columbia High School.  She was a longtime employee of the Bloomsburg Hospital and served as a Columbia County Deputy Coroner for many years, until her retirement. 

She had also served on the Bloomsburg Ambulance Crew and was a volunteer for American Cancer Society's Relay for Life program. 

Linda was an animal lover; enjoyed doing crafts, going to craft shows and especially enjoyed attending the Bloomsburg Fair.

Surviving are her two sons:  Allen L. Kessler and Brian P. Kessler, both of Bloomsburg; a grandson, Zach Kessler; and a great granddaughter, Isabella Kessler.

Along with her parents and husband, Al, she was preceded in death by a brother, Steve  A.  Edwards  on February 7, 2018 and by a sister, Sandra D. Morgan, on June 20, 2021. 

Graveside Services will be held Friday, March 10th, 2023 at 2 PM at Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge.   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to The American Cancer Society or the Animal Resource Center.
