Lou Jean Beishline, 65, of rural Orangeville, (Fishing Creek Township), passed on May 7th, 2024, at home with her family by her side. She was born on April 24th, 1959, at the Bloomsburg Hospital. She was the daughter of Josephine Ann (Snyder) Hittle, of Stillwater and the late Kenneth Wayne Hittle.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Mark Harrison Beishline; their loving sons Levi Harrison Beishline, of Catawissa; Justin Wayne Beishline and wife Christine (Long), of Montoursville; her four dear brothers Audie Eugene Hittle and wife Karina, of Aldie, VA; Monty Dean Hittle and wife Willow, of Lightstreet; Darby Wayne Hittle and wife Dawn of Clinton, CT; and Clinton Dwayne Hittle and wife Elizabeth, of Trout Run; her gifts from God, two granddaughters: Elise Madilyn Beishline and Lea Evelyn Beishline (daughters of Justin and Christine); Five nieces and one nephew, and many caring friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Wayne Hittle.
Lou Jean's calling was education, which she pursued throughout her life with the support of her family. Lou Jean retired from Bloomsburg Memorial Elementary School 2022 with over 30 years teaching children and earning a PhD from Marywood University.
It was Lou Jean's wishes to have a private family service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Compassus Hospice, 575 Montour Blvd, Suite #1, Bloomsburg, PA 17815.
