Lynette M. (Hazeltine) Davis

Lynette M. (Hazeltine) Davis, 60, of Huntington Township, Luzerne County, died Monday, June 3, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born April 9, 1964 in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of Marion (Purainen) Hazeltine, of Trucksville and the late William L. Hazeltine.  She and her husband, Kenneth B. Davis, would have celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary on November 15th.

She was a graduate of Westside Tech; earned her associates degree from Luzerne County Community College and her Bachelors of Science degree from Kings College in Wilkes-Barre.  

Lynnette had been employed by Ashland Regional Hospital, Hazleton General Hospital and had last worked for Sanofi Pharmaceutical Company until poor health forced her retirement.

Her hobbies included hiking, fishing and gardening.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, Kenneth and her mother, Marion, are two daughters:  Nichole Palmer, and her fiancée, Drew Johns, of New Columbus; Samantha Palmer, of Stillwater; two step daughters:  Sabrina Newton, of Bloomsburg and Crystal Davis, of Catawissa; a step son, Christopher Davis and his wife, Jenny, of Willernie, MN; 7 grandchildren:  Alex, Levi, Emma, Gypsy, Landon, Leelain and River; her siblings:  Barbara Shaver and her husband, Barry, of Noxen; Kathleen Thomas, of Plymouth; Dave Hazeltine, of Harveys Lake; Bill Hazeltine, of Sweet Valley and Patricia Hazeltine, of Sweet Valley.

Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family.  The McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., of Benton, is honored to serve the Davis Family.
