Mark E. Travelpiece, 58, of Benton, died late Saturday evening, July 19, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born December 18, 1966 in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of the late
Clark Travelpiece, who died March 5, 1995 and Mary E. (Hildebrand) Travelpiece, who died July 12, 2022.
Mark was a 1986 graduate of Benton High School. He faithfully and honorable served his country in the U. S. Navy for 11 years.
He had been employed by the U. S. Government as a jet engine mechanic.
His hobbies included drag racing, hunting, fishing and muscle cars.
Surviving are his two sisters: Cindy S. McHenry, of Benton and Robyn Lynn Hack and her husband, Dean, of Huntington Mills; two nieces: Alyssa Kramer and Peyten Hack.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in Elan Memorial Park.
