Matthew Halbert Edwards

Matthew Halbert Edwards, 46, of Benton Township, died Friday, June 17, 2022 in Benton Township. 

Born in Berwick on January 27, 1976, he was a son to Keith and Beverly (Shaw) Edwards.

Matthew was a graduate of Northwest Area High School, Class of 1994.  On December 21, 2001, he wed the late Tammy Jo (Earnest) Edwards.  Matthew was a long-time employee of HRI, Inc. and was employed by Sokol Quarries at the time of his passing.  He enjoyed the outdoors and motorcycling.  He also liked building things and DIY projects.

In addition to his parents, Matthew is survived by daughters:  Mikaela Edwards of Camp Hill and Jadyn Edwards of Bloomsburg; siblings:  Bonnie Bogert and husband, Rick, of Shickshinny, Connie Johnson and husband, Jeff, of Benton, Paul Edwards of Bloomsburg, and Mark Edwards and wife, Wyanita, of Benton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 25th, 2022 at 11 AM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., of Benton.  The Family will receive friends from 10 until 11 AM.   The McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., of Benton, is honored to serve the Edwards family.
