Melanie Ann (Bogucki) MacDonald

Melanie Ann (Bogucki) MacDonald, 74, of Fairmount Township, formerly of Philadelphia, died peacefully, Saturday, October 1, 2022 at her home.

Born August 29, 1948 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Mildred (Suida) Bogucki.  She and  her husband, John C. MacDonald, Jr., celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on June 24th.

Melanie was a graduate of St. Hubert's Catholic High School in Philadelphia.  She  was employed as a secretary for Major Oil and later for Toyota Financial Services.  She was last employed by the Bonham Nursing Center.  She also enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with  her family.

 Surviving, in addition to her husband, John, are her three children:  John C. MacDonald, III and his wife, Alexis, of Ivyland, PA; Kim Marie Kushnerock and her husband, James, of Swedesboro, New Jersey; Scott M. MacDonald and his wife, Rachel, of Levittown, PA; eleven grandchildren:  Brandon, Amanda, James, Courtney, Emma, Ryan, Matthew, Christian, Devon and Nolan; four great grandchildren:  Liam, Ellie, Charlotte, and Grayson.  Also surviving are her siblings:  Dr. Edwin Bogucki and his wife, Elizabeth, of Springfield, PA; John Bogucki, of Philadelphia; Virginia Miller and her husband, Larry, of Philadelphia; Susan Bogucki, of Philadelphia; Dr. Fred Bogucki and his wife, Susan, of Richboro, PA; William Bogucki and his wife, Diane, of Southampton, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with  her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Sean MacDonald.
