Miriam Boudman Obituary

Miriam E. "Mim" (Knorr) Boudman, 88, formerly of Benton, died early Saturday morning, May 9, 2020 at the Gardens at Orangeville.

Born June 17, 1931 in Orangeville, she was a daughter of the late Larue Knorr, Sr. and Ella (Fowler) Knorr.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Millard James “Jim" Boudman, on October 15, 1978 and by her second husband, George E. Chappell on December 4, 2017.

Miriam attended school in Orangeville and later at Berwick High School.  She had been employed by Milco Industries in Benton and in her younger years by the former Woolworth Department Store in Berwick.

Years ago she was a member of the Benton United Methodist Church.  She was also a member of the Bloomsburg Loyal Order of the Moose, the Benton Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and the Red Hat Society.

Her hobbies included bowling, playing the piano and "spoons".

Surviving are her four children;  Marie Boudman and her partner, Linda Lowe, of  Kingman, Arizona; Martin "Butch" Boudman and his wife, Susan, of Millville; Sandy Andreeze and her husband, Allan, of Nescopeck and Steven J. Boudman and his wife, Katrina, of Millville;  seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; her four brothers:  John Knorr and his wife, Sandy, of Summerhill; Clayton Knorr and his wife, Pat, of Berwick; Richard Knorr and his wife, Mary Lou, of Berwick;  Robert "Bob" Knorr, of Kingman, Arizona and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and her two husbands, she was preceded in death by the following siblings:  LaRue Knorr, Jr., Carol Whitmire, Phyllis Kemp, Brooks Knorr and Louise Munoz.
