Nancy J. (Sponenberg) Breisch, 76, of Madison Township, died unexpectedly Sunday, December 19th, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born January 14, 1945 in Bloomsburg, she was a daughter of the late David and Margaret Sponenberg. She was married to her husband, James E. Breisch, on August 14, 1965 and he passed away at Geisinger on Tuesday, December 21st.
Mrs. Breisch was a homemaker and also assisted her husband with the operation of his business, Breisch Construction.
She enjoyed being a homemaker and was known for her cooking and baking. She also was an avid reader, nature-lover and especially cherished time spent with her family and her dogs.
Surviving are her two daughters: Michelle M. Welkom and her husband, Christopher, of Bloomsburg; Jamie L. Breisch and her husband, Troy Sidesinger, of Red Lion; a grandson, Justin J. Welkom, of Bloomsburg; her siblings: David Sponenberg and his wife, Darla; Joanne Cleaver and her husband, David; Kathy Yeager, Lewis "Bob" Sponenberg and his wife, Darlia as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her Parents, she was preceded in death by the following siblings: Marjean Manhart; Barbara Richendrfer; Gayle Yocum and Kimberly Manhart.
