Paul James Burt

With great regret and despair, I announce the passing of my beloved husband PAUL JAMES BURT. He was born December 6, 1960, in Escondido, CA to Joe Garner & Dorothy Louise Heggstrom Burt.

Paul owned and operated Burt's Honey Farm and worked as a Commercial Migratory Bee Keeper for 42 years. He was an active member of both the First Baptist Church of Dade City and Bible Baptist Church of Benton, PA, and a member of the NRA. 

He enjoyed hunting and reading, but he prized spending quality family time with his children; Hunting,  Dinners, Disney Trips & Family Beach Vacations! 

Paul is survived by his wife of 38 years: Amy Dawn Burt, the reason for my being, love of my life; father to our 5 amazing children: Patrick Joseph (Megan) Burt, Felicia Renee (Frank) Marchica, Daniel James (Audra) Burt, Joshua Paul (Miranda) Burt & Nicholas Clayton Burt. The admiring Grandfather of 5: Luther Garner, Annelise Jolie, Lillian Grace, Priscilla Dawn, Elijah Paul & our Kendall. His mom: Betty June Burt and 4 siblings: Steve Burt, Richard Burt, Bonnie Greer, Sharon Beck.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 3 PM at the Bible Baptist Church of Benton, with Pastor Paul S. Moseley, Sr., officiating  There will be a visitation on Saturday from 2 PM until the time of the service at 3:00 at the Church. Burial will be in the Raven Creek Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Paul J. Burt Memorial Fund, Bible Baptist Church, 250 Shickshinny Road, Benton, PA 17814.   
Paul James you will be missed more than you ever could imagine!
