Paul W. Heaps, 82, of Mt. Pleasant Township, died Saturday morning, June 25th, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Mr. Heaps was a 1960 graduate of Berwick High School. He was an engineer by trade and co-founder and Vice President of Techniserv, Inc.
Surviving, in addition to this wife, are two children: Paul W. Heaps II and his wife Valerie, of Benton; Melinda Diltz and her husband Michael, of Benton; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Heaps, of Alaska; two sisters: Sallie Knorr and her husband David, of Massachusetts; Meri Masteller, of South Williamsport and sister-in-law Janet Heaps of Berwick.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Conrad Heaps.
Paul was devoted to his wife and family and loved hiking, mountain climbing in the Rockies as well as sailing the Chesapeake and Caribbean. Paul also loved traveling throughout the U.S, England and Europe, and was an avid fly fisherman and photographer.
The family has requested that visitors not call at the home at this time.
