Pauline Albertson Obituary

Pauline R. (Mills) Albertson, 88, of rural Orangeville, died Sunday, April 19, 2020 at the Gardens at Orangeville.

Born September 26, 1931 in Madison Township, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Veda (Swartz) Mills.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben Albertson on October 9, 2012.

Mrs. Albertson attended schools in Greenwood, Millville and Iola.  She had worked for Hanover Foods of Bloomsburg and Stine's Mill in Millville. 

She enjoyed being a homemaker and was known for her quilting and gardening.  She was also an avid reader.

Mrs. Albertson was a member of the Susquehanna Revival Center, Bloomsburg and the Women's Christian Temperance Union. 

Surviving are her nine children:  Dennis Albertson and his wife, Susan, of Orangeville; David Albertson and his wife, Roberta Jean, of Orangeville; Douglas Albertson, of Orangeville; Deborah Schildt and her husband, Robert, of Mahaffey; Donna Hall and her husband, Michael, of Lewes, Delaware; Darla Moore, Orangeville; Dane Albertson, of Orangeville; Denise Hess and her husband, Scott, of Orangeville; and Dean Albertson, of Orangeville.

Also surviving are 30 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, as well as a brother, Robert E. Mills, Jerseytown and a sister, Leatrice Watts, of Millville

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers:  Eckley, Lewis, Gerald and George Mills; two grandsons; a great grandson and a great granddaughter. 

Private Graveside Services will be held at the convenience of the family due to the Coronoavirus pandemic.  Burial will be in the Savage Hill Cemetery.
