Peggy Anne (Yetter) Taylor, 79, of Orangeville, formerly of McVeytown, PA, died at her home early Thursday morning, September 30, 2021 after many years of battling Alzheimer's disease.
Born October 17, 1941 in Newton Hamilton, Mifflin County, she was the only daughter of the late Charles F. and Laura (Stoner) Yetter. She was married to her husband, Robert W. "Bob" Taylor for 59 years on September 29th. They had a daughter, Valerie A. Taylor, who preceded her in death on August 20, 1996.
She was a 1959 graduate of Westville High School in Westville, Indiana. She had been employed by various companies over the years and had worked for Inland Container in Indianapolis and also for the Penn State Nutrition Service where she taught cooking classes.
Peggy was a kind and generous person. She enjoyed being a homemaker and was well known for being a great cook. She also enjoyed playing card games and spending time with the family and friends.
Services will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 2 PM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (State Route 487) with Chaplain Mike Delp, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Camp Victory, 58 Camp Victory Road, Millville, PA 17846.
