Phyllis Louise (Fritsch) Bloom,
79, of Danville and formerly of Lancaster County, died Thursday evening, May 13, 2021 at the
Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Danville where she had been a
resident for the past 6 years.
Born January 17, 1942 in
Columbia, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Frances
(Warfel) Fritsch.
Phyllis attended Lancaster
Catholic High School and had been employed by the Conestoga View Nursing Home,
Lancaster Regional Hospital, Tyson Foods and Totes Umbrella Factory, all of
Lancaster County.
She was a member of Sacred
Heart Church of Lancaster.
Her hobbies included
swimming and she was an avid reader.
Surviving are her three
children: Wayne Laukhuff and his wife,
Anne, of Lancaster; Kimberly Kirsch and her husband, Craig, of Lancaster and
Donald Richard Anderson and his wife, Paula, of Leola. Also surviving are five grandchildren; a
sister, Loretta Brunner and her husband, James, of Lancaster and two
daughter-in-laws: Julie Wilson, of
Benton and Chris Laukhuff, of Lititz.
Along with her parents she
was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy L. Laukhuff, on November 7, 2014 and
a son, Ervin Carl Laukhuff on March 29, 2013.
Private Services will be
held at the convenience of the Family under the direction of the McMichael
Funeral Home, Inc., of Benton.
