Richard C. "Rick" Wolford, 54, of Bloomsburg and formerly of Benton, died late Friday evening, December 31, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born May 16, 1967 at the Bloomsburg Hospital, he was a son of the late Alfred C. Wolford, Jr., who died October 14, 2004 and Nancy I. (Dobbs) Wolford, who died January 21, 2017.
Rick was a 1986 graduate of Benton High School and was employed as a cook at the Columbia County Prison.
His hobbies included fishing and pin ball. He attended the annual Pin-Fest in York, PA for many years.
Surviving are his brother, Jeffrey S. Wolford and his wife, Audra, of Berwick; a step son, Tommy Traver, of Bloomsburg; two nieces and two nephews: Rachel Jones and her husband Elvan, of Conyngham; Desiree McAfee, of Berwick; Jeffrey M. Wolford, of Berwick and Joshua Wolford, of Berwick; an aunt, Dottie Wetzel, of Bloomsburg and an uncle, John Wolford and his wife, Charlotte, of Orangeville and numerous cousins.
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the Family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Funeral Home to help defray Rick's final expenses.
