Robert W. "Bob" Burmeister, 54, of Ridge Road, Orangeville, (Fishing Creek Township) died early Tuesday morning, April 21, 2020 at his home.
Born April 20, 1966 in Doylestown, Bucks County, he was a son of Daniel W. Burmeister and Judith (Parry) Burmeister, of Doylestown. He and his wife, Hollyann (Stones) Burmeister, would have celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary on September 7th.
Bob attended Central Bucks West High School and was a well known custom craftsman known for his unique and beautifully handcrafted furniture.
He was a life-long active member and supporter of 4-H, holding many positions over the years, favorite being Barn Dad at the Bloomsburg Fair.
He attended Stillwater Christian Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially cherished his grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are his four children: Amanda James and her husband, Brandon, of Bloomsburg; Sheri Bohm and her husband, Jeff, of Tarpon Springs, Florida; Samantha Milheim and her husband, Chase, of Berwick; Rachael Burmeister, Orangeville; eleven grandchildren; two sister: Jennifer Dannehower and her husband, Harry, of Bucks County; Barbara Truitt, of Maine; and a brother, Doug Burmeister and his wife, Joann, of Bucks County as well as nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday, July 11th, 2020 at 11 AM at the Stillwater Christian Church, 39 McMichael Street, Stillwater with Pastor Jeff Farley, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to: PSCE with Columbia County 4-H (in memo) , c/o Linda Hendricks, 219 N. Third Street, Catawissa, PA 17820. The McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., of Benton, is honored to serve the Burmeister family.
