Robert E. "Bob" Hittle

Robert E. "Bob" Hittle, 65, formerly of the Benton area, died late Saturday evening, October 26, 2019 at the Bridgewater Nursing Home in Binghamton, New York, where he had been a resident since 2017.

Born October 15, 1954 at the Bloomsburg Hospital, he was a son of the late Fred I. Hittle, who died Sept. 30, 1993 and Patricia R. (Eveland) Hittle, who died May 12, 1998.

Bob was a 1973 graduate of Benton High School.  He had worked at the Benton Foundry and later for the Marcella Farms in Deposit, New York.

He attended the Assembly of God Church in Deposit, New York.  He was a member of the Benton Fire Police and the Deposit, New York, Fire Police.

Surviving are his daughter, Stephanie A. Hittle, of Nescopeck; four grandchildren; his siblings:  Linda M. Rhinard and her husband, Robert, of Virginia Beach, VA; Cindy L. Hittle, of Monroeton; Sally J. Good and her husband, David, of Towanda; Darlene M. Hess, of Sweet Valley; James M. Hittle and his wife, Kelly, of Hunlock Creek; Jeffrey L. Hittle and his wife, Tammy, of Benton and numerous nieces and nephews.
