Robert S. "Bob" Stauffer, Jr., 83, of Sugarloaf Township, died Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at his home.
Born October 17, 1939 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Robert S. Stauffer, Sr., who died December 21, 2004 and Ramona (Rought) Stauffer, who died April 27, 1997.
Bob was a graduate of Benton High School and was self employed as a graphic artist. He owned and operated Stauffer signs.
He faithfully served his country in the U. S. Air Force.
Bob was a member of the former Brandon United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Millville American Legion, the Fishing Creek Sportsmen's Club and a life member of the Orangeville Sportsmen's Club.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also was proficient at fly-tying and offered classes for youth and adults.
Surviving are his wife, Janet L. (Kile) Stauffer; a son, Wade R. Stauffer of Benton and nieces and a nephew.
He was the last member of his immediate family and along with his parents, was preceded in death by his three brothers: David F. Stauffer on January 30, 2009; William A. Stauffer on September 15, 2005 and Donald C. Stauffer on August 7, 2017.
Services will be held Friday, December 23, 2022 at 11 AM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton. Chaplain Mike Delp, Commonwealth Hospice, will officiate.
