Rosemary (Fisher) Crawford, 81, of the Village of Central, Sugarloaf Township, died Friday, May 14, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born June 22, 1939 in Dallas, Luzerne County, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Rose (Petock) Fisher. She and her husband, Larry C. Crawford, would have celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on May 22nd.
She was a 1957 graduate of the former Scott High School in Espy. Mrs. Crawford was a long time legal secretary for the Law firm of Derr, Pursel and Luschas, of Bloomsburg, retiring in 2017 after more than 40 years of service.
Her hobbies included reading, word games, crossword puzzles and playing cards.
Surviving are her husband, Larry C. Crawford, a daughter, Lori A. Weaver and her husband, James, of Orangeville; a son, Larry C. Crawford, II and his wife, Karen, of Benton; four grandchildren: Joshua David Weaver, Jesse James Weaver, Larry C. Crawford, III and Izabella Crawford. Also surviving are a brother, Dennis Fisher and his wife, Carole, of Harveys Lake and a sister, Jeanette DeBonis and her husband, Ken, of Orangeville as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Virginia Knorr-Pickering and Joyce Girton.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 11 AM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (State Route 487), with Pastor Scott Lyons, Stillwater Christian Church, officiating. There will be a Visitation on Wednesday, May 26th from 10 AM until the time of the Service at 11 at McMichael's. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Eight Days of Hope, P. O. Box 3208, Tupelo, MS 38803 or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
