Roxanne (Wenner) Boudman

Roxanne (Wenner) Boudman, 66, of Hughesville and formerly of the Benton / Stillwater area, died Monday evening, September 25th, 2023 at her home.

Born July 25, 1957 at the Bloomsburg Hospital, she was a daughter of the late Richard D. "Dick" Wenner, who died November 16, 2018 and Ruth E. (Rhinard) Wenner, who died October 1, 2021.  She and her husband, Tony R. Boudman, celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary on June 14th.

Roxanne attended Benton High School and then the Columbia Montour Vocational Technical School where she  graduated in 1975.  She also was a graduate of the Danville Area School District Practical Nursing Program where she graduated in 1977 and maintained her certified LPN license until the time of her death.

She had been employed by Penn-DOT for 25 years as a highway design supervisor, retiring in 2015.

Her hobbies included playing the piano, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, Tony, are two children:  Torre R. Boudman and his wife, Kelli, of Stillwater; Risa K. Rosario and her husband, Robert, of Muncy; five grandchildren:  Kara, Ashleigh, Haley, Adam and Rebekah; two great grandchildren:  Sophia and Beau; two sisters:  Kay E. Wenner and Nancy L. Bailey, both of rural Stillwater; a brother, Ricky D. Wenner, of Narvon, PA.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Travis Boudman, on October 26, 1975 and by a brother, Morris Wenner on March 19, 1955.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, September 30th, 2023 at 11 AM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (State Route 487) with Pastor Todd Davis, officiating.  

In lieu  of flowers, contributions  may be made in her memory to the Columbia County Christian School, 123 Schoolhouse Road, Bloomsburg, PA 17815 or to Camp Victory, 58 Camp Victory Road, Millville, PA  17846 or to a Library of the donor's choice.
