Sally Ann (Diltz) Griffith

Sally Ann  (Diltz) Griffith, 81, of Mountain Top, and formerly of the Benton area, died early Saturday morning, October 28, 2023 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born May 24, 1942 in Sugarloaf Township, she was a daughter of the late Alton E. and Margaret E. "Peg" (Eveland) Diltz.  

Sally was a 1960 graduate of Benton High School.  She was a longtime employee of Milco Industries, both at the Benton and Bloomsburg plants.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren and attending the grandchildren's sporting events.  She also enjoyed catching up with her high school classmates for their monthly luncheons.

Surviving are her three children:  Terry L. Griffith and his wife, Stacey, of Wilmington, NC; Stacey J. Kline and her husband, Webb, of Orangeville; Crystal Mahler and her husband, Paul, Jr., of Mountain Top.  Also surviving are her ten grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Dzoch and two brothers:  Alton Eugene "Gene" Diltz and John I. "Koon" Diltz.

Services will be held Thursday, November 2nd 2023 at 2 PM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (State Route 487).  Burial will be in the Waller Cemetery, Jackson Township.  There will be a visitation on Thursday from 1 PM until the time of the service at 2 at McMichael's.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in  her memory to the American Heart Association, 1617 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA   19103.
