Stanley J. Zalot passed away peacefully on 1/9/2022 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley.
Born May 10, 1927, Stanley was the son of Joseph A. Zalot and Estelle (Krotowski) Zalot, in Bensalem Twp, Pa. He graduated from Neshaminy High School and went on to establish and own Stanley J. Zalot Commercial & Residential General Masonry Contractory.
Throughout his life, Stanley was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved exploring the outdoors with his grandsons Kevin A. Hickman and Kurtis S. Hickman. His most enjoyable pastime was attending local polka festivals, church bazaars, and dancing with his friends. Stanley loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was in continual prayer for his family and friends. He always appreciated the Renewal Group Members.
Surviving are his daughter Mary Ann Hickman, and two sons, Stanley Zalot and Michael Zalot, seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Stanley joined into eternal rest with his wife, Theresa (Urban) Zalot, daughter Stella (Zalot) Kraft, and brothers Joseph and Richard Zalot.
Stanley requested a memorial mass at Christ the King Church in Benton, PA, which will be arranged later. In lieu of flowers, Stanley requested donations be sent to Dr. David Jeremiah, who he listened to daily for spiritual guidance. Dr. David Jeremiah, Turning Point, P.O Box 3838, San Diego, CA 92163.
