Stephen Hopkins, IX

Stephen Hopkins, IX, of the Benton area, died Friday, March 18th, 2022 in Benton Township.

Born September 1, 1974 at the Bloomsburg Hospital, he was a son of the late Stephen Hopkins, who died March 17, 2000 and Rebecca L. (Forbes) Hopkins, who died March 19, 1994. 

Steve was employed by the Benton Beer Barn and Dan Frey, private contractor. He had previously worked as a salesman for the former Rex Furniture Store in Bloomsburg. 

He enjoyed spending time with his two nieces and nephews and playing the guitar. He especially enjoyed tinkering and fixing up old cars.

Surviving are his two sisters:  Megan E. Hopkins of Benton and Nicole R. Kilburg, of Aspers, PA; two nieces, Hera Grace Efird, Vivienne Faith Efird and a nephew, Orion Gabriel Efird. 

Memorial Services will be held Sunday, March 27th, 2022 at 4 PM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton, with the Rev. Howard W.
