Steve attended the Waller United Methodist Church.  He was an avid golfer and was a member of numerous golf leagues over the  years.  An avid outdoorsman, he also enjoyed fishing, playing softball, shooting, camping, hiking and riding his motorcycle.  He was especially interested in genealogy and worked diligently on his family tree.  Steve was also an accomplished woodworker and had made various pieces of furniture for the family.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, Maria, are his four children: Scott Williams, of East Tawas, Michigan; Rachel DiPiano and her husband, Chris, of Gilbertsville; Stephenie Williams and her companion, Shawn Pallay, of Pottstown; Jesse Williams, of Spring City; eight grandchildren:  Samantha, Candice, Elizabeth, Justin, Shawn, Kenzie, Mikalah and Austin; two great grandchildren; a sister, Sandra Williams, of State College and a brother, Mike Williams, of Bellefonte.  Also surviving are three step children from a previous marriage:  Jack Scampone, of Muncy; Melissa Older, of Schwenksville; and Jacob Scampone, of South Williamsport.
