Tammy Jo (Earnest) Edwards

Tammy Jo (Earnest) Edwards, 45, of Benton Township, died Friday, June 17, 2022 in Benton Township.

Born in Bloomsburg on October 6, 1976, she was the daughter of Arnold Earnest and Mary Hittle. 

Tammy attended Benton Area Schools.  On December 21, 2001, she wed the late Matthew Halbert Edwards.  Tammy had been a long-time employee of Country Fresh Market in Benton.  She enjoyed building things, including furniture, and undertaking projects around her home.  Spending time with her family, including her dogs, was her favorite pastime.

In addition to her parents, Tammy is survived by her daughters:  Mikaela Edwards of Camp Hill and Jadyn Edwards of Bloomsburg; grandmother, Mildred R. Stackhouse of Unityville; and brother, Shawn Earnest and wife, Stephanie, of Benton.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 25th, 2022 at 11 AM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., of Benton.  The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of the Service at 11 AM.
