Terry R. Grose

Terry R. Grose, 67, of Benton Township, died Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born July 29, 1953 in Lewistown, Mifflin County, he was a son of the late Richard James Grose and Roberta Elizabeth (Miller) Grose. 

Terry was a graduate of Penn Highland High School in Lewistown.  Following his graduation from High School, he joined the U. S. Navy where he faithfully served for four years.  Following his discharge from the Navy he was employed by the Granville Cable Company in Lewistown.  For 30 years he was employed in mechanical maintenance for PP&L in Salem Township, until his retirement in 2015.

He was a member of Oriental Lodge, F. & A. M., of Orangeville; the Shickshinny American Legion and the Benton V. F. W. and was also a member of various hunting and fishing clubs. 

An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping.

Surviving are his partner, Debra Abrams, of Benton; two sons: Richard M. Grose, of Stillwater; Timothy W. Grose and his wife, Yvonne, of Benton; a step daughter, Jackie Dishaw; six grandchildren:  Danielle, Richard, Caydence, Austin, Brandon, and Cameron Grose; a great granddaughter, Paisley Grace Pirillo; a brother, Gary Grose and his wife, Linda, of West Virginia and a sister, Susan Smith and her husband, Tim, of Arkansas.

Graveside services, Military Honors and Masonic Services  will be held Thursday, July 29th, 2021 at 2:45 PM at the Benton Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Columbia Montour Boy Scout Council, 5 Audobon Ct., Bloomsburg, PA 17815.  The McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., of  Benton, is honored to serve the Grose Family.
