Theodore E. "Teddy" Lahey, 76, of rural Stillwater, died late Saturday evening, April 13, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born May 22, 1947 in Plainfield, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Erwin Edward Lahey and Rose (Brandt) Lahey. He and his wife, Nancy L. (Gilman) Lahey, celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on March 4th.
He was a graduate of Middlesex County Vo-Tech School in New Jersey.
Teddy was employed as a maintenance mechanic by the Suscon Plastics Company in Williamsport for 35 years, until his retirement in 2020.
His hobbies included watching movies, working around the house and doing yard work.
Along with his wife, Nancy, he is survived by three children: Kimberly Ann Lahey and her companion, Richard Gipe, of Berwick; Jason T. Lahey and his wife, Melissa, of Bloomsburg; Brandon T. Lahey and his wife, Tracy, of Benton; five grandchildren: Samantha and her husband, Ron Fuller; Jade, Caleb, Jacey and Gabe; his siblings: Judy Schostkewitz and her husband, Vic, of Kentucky; Valerie Kasper and her husband, Paul, of South Carolina; Gregory Lahey and his wife, Mary Alice, of New Jersey and Mark Lahey and his wife, Christine, of New Jersey; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as his faithful canine companion, Maggie.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Lahey.
Services will be held Friday, April 19th, 2024 at 3 PM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (State Route 487) with Pastor Scott Lyons, Stillwater Christian Church, officiating. A Visitation will be held Friday from 2 PM until the time of the service at 3. The McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., of Benton, is honored to serve the Lahey Family.
