Tina L. (Wilcox) Young

Tina L. (Wilcox) Young, 66, of Benton (Jackson Township), died Sunday evening, May 18, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born August 26, 1958 in National City, California, she was a daughter of Paul and Sally (Buckalew) Wilcox, of Bloomsburg.   She and her husband, Wayne E. Young, would have celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary on

September 19th.

Tina attended Bloomsburg Schools and was employed by Windsor Foods in Bloomsburg for 26 years.

She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and her loving dog, "Buster", as well as crafting.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, Wayne, and her parents, Paul and Sally Wilcox, are her children: Carrie Sue Weaver-Welliver; Earl Walter Weaver, Jr.; and Devon Lynn Dawson.  Also surviving are her ten grandchildren:  Brandon Weaver, Justin Burkland, Jareth Haberstick, Kaitlin Beasley-Duffy; Toryn Weaver; Taylor Mordan; Julie Weaver; Gauge Mordan; Bailey Brown and Gordon Brown; 8 great grandchildren and three brothers:  Doug Wilcox, Wayne Wilcox and his wife, Krystal and Larry "Todd" Wilcox as well as nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 11 AM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (State Route 487) with Pastor Robert K. Andrews, Derrs Christian Church, officiating.  A Viewing will be held Thursday morning from 9:30 until the time of  the Service at 11 at the Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105-9959.
