Tori Marie (O’Handley) Heim, 40, beloved daughter, granddaughter, and mother passed away at home on May 2, 2020. Tori was born on June 20, 1979 at the Berwick Hospital to William (Bill) O’Handley and Tina (Snyder) Hess-Williams.
She graduated from Benton High School where she excelled academically and at sports. She attended Indiana University. In 2001, Tori married Ryan Alan Heim and together they had three children: son Dylan Alan and daughters Jacey Lynn and Emma Marie.
Tori was artistically gifted, a voracious reader, and loved music. Not many people knew she had a beautiful singing voice. She loved hiking with family and friends and was most at peace outdoors surrounded by nature. She cared deeply, and was an advocate, for animals.
Tori was preceded in death by her father, Bill, younger brother William D. O’Handley, Jr., grandparents William A. and Mary J. Snyder, and grandfather J. Douglas O’Handley.
She is survived by her mother Tina Marie, grandmother Dorothy O’Handley, sister Sarah Williams, husband Ryan and children Dylan, Jacey, and Emma, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, June 20th, 2020 at 11 AM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (State Route 487) with Pastor Scott Lyons of Stillwater Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in St. Gabriel's Cemetery, Sugarloaf Township.
