Vicky L. (Walton) Fish

Vicky L. (Walton) Fish, 69, died early Monday morning, July 6, 2026 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville surrounded by her loving family.

Born  April 14, 1957 in Wichita Falls, Texas, she was a daughter of the late David W. Walton, Sr., who died January 6, 2017 and Janice I. (Rood) Walton, who died June 1, 2021.  She and her husband, Allan D. Fish,   would  have celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary on July 13th.

Vicky was a 1975 graduate of Berwick High School and had been employed by Berwick Hospital Center as a cardiac treatment clinic technician for 30 years.  Later she served as a caregiver for numerous family members and was also a part time secretary for McMichael Funeral Home, Inc.

A woman of faith, she was a member of the Berwick Assembly of God Church.  She also enjoyed ladies Bible studies and attending Bible Conferences.

Vicky served on the Berwick Election Board, Ward 1, for many years.  She was a member of the Berwick Elks Lodge, an avid bingo player, enjoyed ladies tea parties and having breakfast with her high school classmates, but most of all she cherished the time spent with family and being a "Meme".

Along with  her husband, Allan, she is survived by her children:  Amanda G. Fish; Sarah R. Fish and her companion, Michael Serafin; Travis A. Fish and his  wife, Colleen; Monica L. Young and her husband, Shawn, all of Berwick;  seven grandchildren: Brendan, Zachary, Hanah, Clara, Cadee, Caden, and Demetri; six great grandchildren:  Carson, Cohen, William, Layla, Vera and Blake; her siblings:  Darla J. McMichael and her husband, Bruce; David W. Walton, Jr. and his wife, Nan; and Gayle L. Gizenski; her mother-in-law, Donna J. Fish, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Frank N. Walton, on November 15, 2017; her father-in-law, Lawrence K. Fish on April 27, 2020; a nephew, John A. Weikel on September 11, 2019 and by a brother-in-law, Joseph E. "Joe" Gizenski on December 27, 2025. 

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, July 12, 2026 at 5 PM at the Berwick Assembly of God Church, 801 East Fifth Street, Berwick, with the Rev.
