Willard Swank, Jr. Obituary

Willard N. "Bill" Swank, Jr.,  61, of Stillwater, died Thursday morning, January 5th, 2023 at his home.

Born April 5, 1961 in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Willard N. Swank, Sr., who died Oct. 21, 2007 and Kathryn E. (Davis) Swank, who died July 27, 2008.  He and his wife, Beverly J. (Walburn) Swank, celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary on August 6th.

Bill was a "jack of all trades and master of none" but worked in steel construction for many years.

He faithfully served his country in the U. S. Army.

An avid outdoorsman, he especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Mostly, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his grandson.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, Beverly, are his three daughters:  Brenda Lee Dulaney; Tina M. Parks and Bobbie Jo Rogers.  Also surviving are his grandson, Christopher Wood, Jr., whom he raised; nine additional  grandchildren and his siblings:  Kenneth R. Swank, Sr.; Michael W. Swank, Sr.; Thomas A. Swank and Kathryn E. Swank and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry and a sister, Pollyann.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  The McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., of Benton, is honored to serve the Swank Family.   For online condolences, please visit our website:  www.mcmichaelfuneralhome.com
