William S. Elwell, Jr., 61, of Williamsport and formerly a long-time Bloomsburg resident, died Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at UPMC, Williamsport.
Born October 27, 1963 in Ravenna, Ohio, he was a son of the late William S. Elwell, who died September 19, 1999 and Margaret A. (Toth) Elwell Schmidt, who died December 15, 2019.
While living in Bloomsburg, Bill had resided at 325 Market Street; he later lived in Selinsgrove and Danville for many years, before moving to Williamsport.
Surviving are his two sisters: Debra L. Ansbach and her husband, George R., of Williams, Arizona; Lisanne E. (Elwell) Bennie, of Phoenix, Arizona;
Also surviving are his nieces and nephews: Brian T. Ansbach and his wife, Tamara, of Surprise, AZ; Jessica Glover and her husband, Mike, of New River, AZ; Sean C. Elwell and his fiancée, Amber Thompson, of Phoenix, AZ and Timothy J. Bennie, II, of Phoenix, AZ;
Great nieces and nephews include: Layla Elwell, Timothy J. Bennie, III; Arijanna Bennie, Alaina Bennie; Cody Ansbach and his wife, Krystina; Austin Ansbach and his wife, Tiffany; Shelby Bach and her husband, Jordan; Cailey Bennie and her fiancée, Beau Bullard and Tanner Bennie; great great nieces and nephews are Owen Ansbach, Kolton Ansbach, Scottie Ansbach, and Axel Bullard.
