Winfred Glen Jackson, 84, died Friday afternoon, May 20th, 2022 at the Bonham Nursing Center, Huntington Township.
Mr. Jackson was a materials supervisor for the Bechtel Corporation, retiring in 1994.
His hobbies included fishing, watching the New York Yankees, gardening and traveling with his wife, brother, Kenneth and sister-in-law, Helen. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and family gatherings.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, Annie, are his four children: Anna Marie Johnson and her husband, Dan, of Willoughby, Ohio; Tina Comstock and her husband, Mark, of Orangeville; Anthony Jackson and his significant other, Judy Fitzgerald, of Allentown; Timothy Jackson and his wife, Dina, of Fleetwood; four grandchildren: Brian, Ashley, Sara, Amy; eight great grandchildren: Alyssa, Tyler, Addie, Billy, Oliver, Olivia, Alex and Lila; two brothers: Winston Jackson, of Verona, Virginia; Kenneth Hubbard, of Arlington, Virginia; and a sister, Velma Dofflemyer, of Elkton, Virginia and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Dorothy Propst, Sharon Hock, and Loveda Coleman.
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the Family. The McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., of Benton, is honored to serve the Jackson Family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the American Lung Cancer Society.
