Welcome to the memorial page for

Audrey Lynn Heschl

January 13, 1955 ~ December 4, 2016 (age 61) 61 Years Old

We celebrate the life of Audrey Lynn Heschl, born January 13, 1955 to Fred Eric and Marie Paulley Heschl in Philadelphia.  Her early life was spent in Quakertown, PA until she moved to Benton in 1985.  She peacefully departed this life in her home on December 4, 2016 with her family by her side as they surrounded her with love during her final hours on earth.  She is preceded in death by her father, mother, younger sister, Donna Marie, and younger brother, Steve.  Surviving are two brothers:  Gary (Vickie) and Carl (Barb); nephews: Eric, Brent, Chad, Justin; one niece: Kallie; great-niece, Olivia; great-nephews, Whit, Beckett, and Caleb.

Audrey felt a deep compassion for all people, animals, and nature.  Although challenged by physical limitations, she dedicated her life to caring for others, including her family and many clients that she lovingly cared for while working as Residential Supervisor at Community Services Group.

She had a tender heart for her beloved black labs (Max, Kodi, Dew, & Dinsdale) and found great joy in their companionship for many years.  As a young woman, her love for photography was often captured in amazing pictures of family and nature.  Gardening was her passion, and she looked forward each year to planting, nurturing and watching the beauty of new blooms surround her home and yard.

Audrey was overjoyed and proud when she finally owned her first home.  In a beautiful country house, she lived a quiet and simple life and treasured the many years she shared the comfort of this home with her precious mother.  Her home is where family always gathered for a traditional Thanksgiving, with lots of cooking, fun games, and much laughter …. Memories to be cherished forever!

Angels, one of her favorite collections, were always displayed throughout her home.  Now she walks with the angels in Heaven … with no more pain or suffering.  The family is especially thankful to Columbia Montour Hospice for providing compassionate care during her last days.  Burial will be at the Benton Cemetery with a private family graveside service.   Arrangements are under the direction of the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., Benton.  For online condolences or additional information, please visit:  www.mcmichaelfuneralhome.com.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Resource Center (ARC) of Bloomsburg, 301-A Boone Rd, Bloomsburg, PA 17815
